7.10am… And it’s still so dark…
I don’t know if I think the same thing every year, or if it’s staying darker for longer!!!
I should really be tucked up in bed, not making my way to school!
Surely there should be a law against getting out of bed when even the sun is still tucked up in his cloudy duvet??!!
And 20 minutes later… The change is pretty huge!

I agree with the law. I hate getting up in the dark and my son insists that the Christmas tree be turn on when its dark, so at 5.30am I am trying to desperatly find some Christmas spirit, when all I want to do is go back to bed

I’m still adjusting to the darkness in the morning. It’s kind of nice sometimes though. You can fool yourself into thinking you’re still asleep! Ha, ha.

Its the same here….so dark and then poof, the grey sky appears….. but it is one of my favorite times of the day…..in Yuma I can sit and watch the sun rise on the desert….absolutely beautiful colors….and the sunset is just as beautiful….Enjoy your day my friend…..kat

When living up in North west until last year, the daylight in peak winters would start making its way around 8.30 am. And between 8 to 8.30 I would see, from my home’s window, children dressed up in school uniforms walking their way to school. Children going to school in dark is something unimaginable for somebody who went to school.in India. Thankfully son was still a toddler than and now that he has started school we are back in India.
