TJ’s Household Haiku Challenge – Potpourri

This week TJ has used my prompt idea of Potpourri.

Image from Pixabay… Sorry I’m not home to take my own at the moment!

Two little entries from me this week!

Who would have thought that
Dried old peels and dead flowers
Could make rooms smell good…?

Pretty potpourri
Hides a multitude of smells
With fragrant odors

It did use to seem like some kind of magic to me when I was little that dried old flowers could make a room smell so lovely! Thank you for this, you prompted me to take part!
