TJ’s photo and word prompt this week:

Strange & Tears

mist (Large)

My first is for the photo, including the words

Strange mist creeps over
Sunlight tears through the curtain
Welcoming the day

Just a little strange
Fake tears yet smiling inside
Truly fickle love

Last one remembering the Princess of the People… can’t believe you have been gone 20 years…

Memories are strange
I didn’t even know you
Still, myΒ eyes are full

Well done for all three Sis! I remember Diana’s funeral too, so very sad, especially for those poor boys.

Lovely Haiku, Ritu! I still remember how sad I was, watching the news every day, and saw the flowers piled miles and miles way.

I still remember watching her emotional, funeral procession along highways and streets to the church on television, here in Canada. Flowers thrown to her everywhere. Brought tears to my eyes. ❀

It has indeed… How time flies… I was reading a supplement in a paper about her, and I really wish my kids had been able to see her in action… a great woman ❀
