Thanks to Rachel, for nominating me for the Brotherhood of The World Blogger Award! I have accepted this award before, many moons ago, so I would like to share her post, and, because I do like answering questions, I shall answer those!
- What is your biggest regret? I cant put it out there in public, but put it this way, it impacts on my life EVERY day!
- What is something that your younger self would be most proud of about you? That I actually published a book!
- What is your favourite fruit and why? Mango, because it is sweet and exotic, and just all over yummy!
- If you could play any instrument, what would it be? (Or what instruments can you play?) In the past, I’ve learned how to play the Recorder, Guitar and Piano! I can bash a beat out, amateurishly, on a Dhol drum too! I wish I had more lessons on the Guitar and Piano though!
- What setting from a book or movie would you like to live in or experience? Obviously the edible world in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!!!!
- Why did you start blogging? Purely by chance! A friend started, and I wanted to comment on her first post. WordPress invited me to start a blog, and I did, not knowing what it was… and the rest, as they say, is history!
- What is something you are looking forward to? Seeing my parents this weekend!
- If job availability/ money were not factors, what would be your dream occupation? A full-time children’s storyteller and writer!
- If you could start any charity what would it be? It would be something to help disadvantaged children!
- Name a skill you want to learn and why. I’d love to learn tact. Nuff said!

Congrats Ritu on your award. I did smile at No 10 and I recall when I worked away that holidays meant coming home to see our parents.
Here is what i thought of the questions:
1. What is your biggest regret? Spending so much of my life in a state of naivety.
2. What is something that your younger self would be most proud of about you? I lived to this age.
3. What is your favourite fruit and why? Peaches, I find they are so delicious I eat them most days.
4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be? (Or what instruments can you play?) I was taught piano by nuns who had no real feel for Music, later I taught myself guitar and wrote all sorts of songs and a few musicals.
5. What setting from a book or movie would you like to live in or experience? Something from Harry Potter, my life is lived in fantasy so why not!!!
6. Why did you start blogging? Originally it was to have a place to put my writing as I had been writing things for a lot of years. And it grew from there.
7. What is something you are looking forward to? Having my kids around on Christmas day night.
8. If job availability/ money were not factors, what would be your dream occupation? A funeral director as there is a never ending amount of work and they use excavators to dig the graves not shovels.
9. If you could start any charity what would it be? Something to aid women’s health, refugees and the aged.
10. Name a skill you want to learn and why. Feeling comfortable in social situations. I know I am awkward, I feel awkward, I feel people back away.
