What I want you to do is take the string in one hand, and pick up a piece of pasta.
Remember, the other day, we painted it?
It’s like a tube, and you can thread the string through it, and make a lovely necklace.
No, David, you can’t eat it.

It’s an every day occurence! We actually did our first pasta collage yesterday in class, and yes, there were definitely cries of “Yum! I like pasta! I eat it!” followed by adults stopping said kid from munching on stale dried pasta shapes!
