A very impressive discussion here. Only women and one man aboard. Lol It seems the roles have not changed over the decades. 😉 xx Michael

Parenting teens is the toughest job I’ve ever done. I’ve read it’s like “trying to nail jello to a tree.” Still, we got through it.

as a teen who remembers my years, (not so well behaved), I can say my 3 daughters and I survived their teen years, with a bit less craziness but not easy )

Been there, got the T-shirt and survived. As adults, they are both my best friends. As I told one friend, It will get worse before it gets better, but it does get better!!

I remember how I was as a teen – NOT something to be proud of – so I tried to talk to mine differently..worked pretty well as they both came through with flying colors, even with a boy bump in the road or two – after all, he was a boy!

Oh yes! “You’re out of the Ark…” “…from Victorian times!” “SO old-fashioned.” And, one I really hated.. “You don’t know what you’re talking about!” (To think all three sons have grown up to be so loving and special!)

A 16 year old sports mad boy going through mock A-level exams, and a 14 year old hormonal anxious girl make for an interesting household… And I think I’ll be adding to it, as I begin to feel the effects of perimenopause! 😜😜😜
