It’s been another hectic week, but I thought I would pop in here today and share Spidey’s spotlight to talk about a very special young man in my life.
My son. Lil Man.
That is how I refer to him on here and have done for the last nearly ten years. But on Thursday, just past, he turned 18.
So he is officially an adult.
And taller than me.
And he has muscles on his muscles!
Before we got the news that I was pregnant, we had been on a journey to conceive, which had been rocky, as I suffer from Polycystic Ovaries (PCOS), and the likelihood of me even conceiving was slim without medical intervention.
We were one set of medication off embarking upon IVF when I finally fell pregnant, and the moment I held that little bundle in my arms is a moment I will cherish forever, as he was our miracle.
18 years have flown by, and though he has his stubborn moments, I am proud of my son, who likes to hide it, but is an extremely sensitive, kind soul who has finished his A-Levels and is ready to embark on his next adventures.
And, even though he towers over me, he will always be my Lil Man.

happy birthday to your full blown man, he is truly a living proof that all things are possible. , my daughter suffered from this as well and ended up having two beautiful babies, though there were come really sad and hard times along the way. like your son, these children have arrived in spite of the challenges and each like a miracle.
