
Another week, another weigh in!
It’s always hard when we are on holidays. I feel like all I want to do is pick while I am at home, despite keeping busy!
Anyway… 0.5lb off so it can’t be all that bad!
A selection of the food, both naughty and nice!
And today I will give a little ‘Ritu’ advice…
Don’t be afraid to try new things. You will be amazed, and wonder why you hadn’t tried them sooner! And exploring new foods, can really help your healthy eating regime too!
Take me, I never ate prawns, or King Prawns anyway. But in September, I thought I would try them, and you know, they weren’t that bad! And I started experimenting with fish. I was only ever a fish finger girl previously, but now I will eat salmon at least!
And Quark.
What the heck is Quark?!
It is a soft cheese made from skimmed (fat free) milk. And I had never heard of it! But it is a great alternative to cream in cooking, and if you add a little sweetener, it can be used as cream. I have made quark pancakes too, which I think are pretty special!
