Good evening my Peeps and fellow Haiku Hubbers!
Today TJ gave us the prompt Reflect, and this photo
Judy, my Blog Sis, of Edwina’s Episodes, suggested a monthly theme for the Haiku challenges that TJ sets for us, which was ‘Retro’. Therefore, he took the picture and gave it a ‘retro’ feel!
I took the word Retro and wrote what came to mind when I hear the word… all about Disco!

Wondered where he went
He took a week hiatus….

I was inspired to write 3 haiku tonight. The first is associated with the photo TJ shared

Scissors snip paper
To create a masterpiece
Just open and see
The second inspired by my last week’s pursuits
Cut
As I decorate
My hard work is rewarded
With cuts on my hand
And a tanka about self-publishing

We were in the garden, having a barbeque as I read this prompt, and I searched for inspiration outside… Here was what I came up with.
