Thursday Thoughts

image

I am sooooooo guilty of this one!
Seriously!
Queen of ‘foot in mouth’! That’s me.
Despite my best efforts to be tactful, I can never get it quite right!
I’m fine with writing, but when talking, and I do a lot of that, it just seems to blurt out… Verbal diahorrea! And you can’t take things back, once you’ve said them!
Usually, it’s a harmless conversation, but just the way I word something can be misconstrued, and I wish I could reel the words back in, and spew them back out, anew, so something sounds better, nicer, kinder, more appealing… But it don’t happen like that, does it?
Oh well…
Have a great Thursday Peeps, and remember to think before you speak!!!

But I Smile Anyway...

The same happens to me so I try to avoid talking to people unless I can’t keep it inside anymore or I have to get something done.

I have a problem with not thinking before I speak. It’s a very human thing. Yes I too worry about possibly offending someone.

Verbal diarrhoea. It’s like one of the skills I could jot in my CV. I usually sprout something totally inappropriate then quickly think of something clever to hide that mess and end up saying something even more horrific. By the end, nobody would remember the first comment that started the cycle. I don’t know if I should celebrate that since that was the whole point of the ramblings or if I should dig a hole and bury myself in it.

Likewise with me, but i am learning to be tactful. I wrote a post sometime back on this theme:

I think that most people have this problem, including me. It’s one of those things that you can only learn from experience. 😀

Hahahaha “verbal diahorrea” 😂😂😂 Oh, Ritu we really are sisters. I always try to be careful and mostly let others talk (because I know myself). It is not that I lose my temper, it is more on the embarrassing side. Once I feel the my excitement growing then things I think are so funny can be horribly embarrassing. Or I just use the wrong words in my excitement. I once congratulated my mother in-law to her birthday and wanted to say… and all the best for the coming years… but I said: … and all the best for the years left… I noticed that when it was said…lol

It´s less warm than God, 24 degrees celcious, normally since June we had a steady 35 degrees at the very least. So basically you spend the whole day sweating, specially since I don´t have AC,so my AC is taking 5 cold showers a day. Apart from that, I have my laptop still repairing so I´m steeling my roomates laptop, and I´m broke which is nothing new actually. Although I´m still not living under a bridge or sleeping on top of bench, which has happened in the past. So no money for cigarettes, little food which is good really since I can say I´m going on a diet, and I do have a rood over my head and the computer to type out some crazy things. That was quite a lot of information, I´m just shameless.

What about in rainy England? You lost any of your kids while texting…….

Well… We were meant to have so e huge thunder storm last night .. I heard nothing. Its not wet outside… Just a little damp. Its muggy here, humid, you know!
And yes, be grateful for what you DO have!
I’m chilling, watching a movie, kids are busy doing their own things, in our house.. So I’m safe, no losing them! 😊

At this hour?….alone, two things then, either you´re lying ,the second one which would be that you are feeling melancholic, actually my theory is the second one. Now you´re seeing the “sparks” of first falling in love, and your “hubby”, well you would like to have that first love “spark” of the movie that has gone by way way far by now, you need new blood !!

Nope, not lying, and neither of the reasons you think!
Actually I have never seen it before in it’s entirety, and it was on my on demand movie service… So I decided, why not!
Plus the rain storm has reached us now too!!!!
It’s thundering, and there is a little lightning… And plenty of rain… Apparently were in for a UK Monsoon here!
        Wonderful!

That should be a crime if someone hasn´t seen that movie entirely.

If there is lightning, you know they do recommend you to not be in front of the t.v, in case it strikes the antenna and the lightning flows through the electricity circuit coming right at you through the t.v, so it´s better to get under a table, a wooden one at that. You can still have your phone or tablet with you to write that´s the good news.

And what is astonishing to me is that you are actually “watching” the t.v while on wordpress? So which one is it, either you watch it or your on wordpress, one of the two. Has to be a bit distracting being on wordpress and catching up with the movie at the same time.

P.S. Could you blow a little so the rain jumps the pond and gets to Spain?

I don´t believe it, sun? in the U.K…..that´s something. Take a picture.

They did a study at Harvard and yes women do multitask better than men, but they did find that men where better at their jobs because they focused intensely on one thing contrary to women who could do several things and none of them as good as the man doing that one thing, that´s is why in the U.S women get paid 25 cents less the dollar than a man….ha !

No, just face it. We are different in all aspects of life. I hate that thing when women say “men and women are equal”. Hell no, and that´s the beauty of it.

Of course we’re different! Equality doesn’t have to be as extreme as some people make it, but equality in respect is important for all.

Agreed, except I would say “equality in respect for almost all”, certainly there are people out there in the world that I don´t even consider them humans, have no problem taking them out of the picture never had never will.
