Deal with it!

images5X9EXBEXWell, update for the day…

Hey Peeps!

I sure hope you have had a smooth day!

I was all set to forget the crap of yesterday, and get on with today, fresh start and all, regarding my email issues, anyway.

Well… This morning, still no contact. This afternoon, still no contact. This evening, STILL no contact! I have contacted them around 8 times now using their contact form, and apart from once, they all say at the end that they will be in tough, VIA the account that is disabled! WTF???!!!

Even though I have given them the alternative email! And the phone number makes you go round and round then says they won’t deal with email issues on the phone, use the contact form!

Sorry Yahoo, you have lost one loyal user….

I have since, been desperately trying to get onto various email login connected sites, to change my primary email to my gmail one.  This, I think, is why I disappeared, or my face disappeared on my contact page, and on my comments, and also why you are having to moderate my innocent comments!

But at least I have secured my banking, and several other things.

And so to my day with the little lovelies… well, we had each group, morning and afternoon, for an hour without parents today.  It wasn’t as bad as I thought!

3 criers in the morning, but they were still ok. Humorous moment, when the little Chinese guy ran to mummy, and she was cuddling him, and tapping him, pointing at us and saying “Boobay! Boobay!” My colleague and I dutifully waved and said “Bub-bye!” too until we realised, after she said “No Boo bay!” pointing to the book bags that the children bring in. She wanted to take his home!  So not Boobay, as in bye, but Boobay as in Book Bag! Of course!

The afternoon heralded the arrival of the screamers! We had 2 boys crying, like they were in competition, but they seemed to stop after 10 minutes. A little girl was upset for about half the time, 30 minutes, until she went to the toilet, and then she was fine!

The hardest thing? Not being able to communicate with them all easily. I worked out that we have 4 English children in the morning, and 3 in the afternoon… the rest of the 40 are made up of Slovakian, Lithuanian, Polish, Albanian, African, and Punjabi, to name a few! At least I can communicate with the Punjabi children! 5 in the morning and 6 in the afternoon!

So, they went, relatively happily.  In fact most cried as they didn’t want to leave!

You think that was all?  Oh no, my IT issues did not end there.

Our WiFi is not working at school for some reason, and I have a specia app to use to log our children’s progress. I dutifully took photos of all the children this morning, to set their profiles up, then realised that the afternoon kids records were not there.

I came home where I have WiFi, and synced the app, only in order to lose the photos, but gain the afternoon kids names!

MAAAAYYN!!!!! This is just driving me crazy!!

One nice thing?  I think my paperwork is up to date, and my last class’s teacher has asked me to read her new class a story tomorrow, on their first day.  They are the children who were in nursery last year, and I feel touched that she would want me to read to them!

So, I am off to BREATH now!!

Take it easy Peeps! Luv Ya All!!

I can’t stand dealing with those automated forms and what not. I want a human. Flesh, blood and full of stupid. Because, in the end, it’s just more fun to yell at a human.. wait, that’s not right.. (but, it is, you know it is)

Well, I speak Punjabi…. So,that’s some, and we have a few members of staff who speak other languages. But nothing permanent. We might just get them to help in emergencies!
