Injury report #10456

wpid-20151004_143953-1.jpgIt’s been a while, I haven’t had to report any injuries, thank goodness for ages…

But that’s not to say I have been totally safe…

I am covered in thigh height bruises, and on my arms, through working with delightful munchkins of said height! Not all are inflicted by others, mostly they are from me rescuing children/items from children, and banging into things as I work.. typical Ritu!

No this toe nail injury is something that came to light when I went for my pedicure last week.  A few weeks back, I went to do my grocery shopping at Morrison’s.  I pickled myself up an 8 pack of Rubicon Mango juice drink (oooh I love that stuff!) and put it in the trolley, only to have a second pack fall and bang on my toe.  Note to all, I hadn’t dislodged it, honestly, it fell a good minute after I had taken mine, and on looking the shelf had been stacked appallingly! I hobbled around the rest of the store, completing my weekly shop, and boy was my toe sore, but as I had a Shellac Pedicure, I couldn’t remove the polish to check it out over the few days after.

I had in fact forgotten what had happened until last Sunday when I went for a little well deserved pampering, and said discoloured toe nail was uncovered! I quickly got a picture before it was covered back up with a delightful golden sparkly shimmer!

In other injury reports, I appear to have twisted my knee through rushing around far too much.. old injury, now aggravated again! And my elbow hurts… but that’s probably me walking into a door frame or something!

Oh well, off to rest up now!!!!

    Poor thing!
A can of beans fell down on my foot once. I felt betrayed by my pantry. The edge of the can cut me, and then my own toenail cut me, and both bled a ridiculous amount. What a mess! Hurt for days!

Happens to me often. I hit my bones all the time and sometimes I surpise myself when I find some green spots on my skin and don’t remember where they came from. A few days back I hit my pelvis bone pretty heave… I remember that one. Still hurts but I don’t see any green spots… weird.

I find mysterious bruises all the time sis lol! Hubby Dearest used to question me all the time… now he’s given up, he has seen me walk into so many things over the years, nothing surprises him any more!!!

Ha ha! Oh, poor Ritu. I am not laughing at you, but just at the fact that you are just as bad as me with a catalog of bumps, bruises and God knows what else. I hope your sore toe is better now. and that the golden sparkly nail polish has cheered it up! Take care, my clumsy Klutz sis 🙂

Ouch. That looks like it hurt. Bubble wrap is a good idea.
