It was the School disco today.
After the rushing around, having forgotten to set my alarm, I wasn’t sure if I’d have the energy, because it was not one, but two discos!
We have one for the younger children and one for the older ones.
Being a Reception teacher means my pupils were attending the first one, and my daughter, as an older pupil, was attending the second, so it meant another nearly 12 hours at school!
But it was fun. The kids enjoyed it, and I must admit that I had a bit of a blast too, dancing with all my babies!
Of course a Halloween disco is not complete without a bit of dressing up… and I decided this year I would not go all witchy, but feline instead!

I always felt sorry for the reception teacher at our disco, I try to think what it is like for her trying to teach 32 kids for 6 hours and then have the same 32 kids high on sugar for another hour.

I know.. and I have 3… yes three days that will look a bit like 10-12 hour days just next week! It’s two parents evenings, and one full Governors meeting evening!
