#JusJoJan – January 1st, 2018 – Drama

Well look at that! January is here, and Linda’s Just Jot It January or #JosJoJan is back!

I’m going to try to write on each of the prompts!

Today the prompt is:

Your prompt for January 1st, 2018, brought to you by the lovely Ritu, is “Drama.” Use it any way you’d like in your post. And make sure you visit Ritu at her blog, “But I Smile Anyway…” to read her post and say hi! Here’s her link:  https://butismileanyway.com/

Yup, the prompt today, brought by lil old me!

Oh my, the histrionics of the last two weeks… I could bore you senseless with the dramas in my life, but they are too personal so I shall refrain!

Instead, a little acrostic poem dedicated to my daughter Lil Princess, who is permanently attached to a phone, recording pretend YouTube videos or Musical.ly clips! Rather funny to watch, but at 9, we have said no sharing!!!

D- Deep rooted emotions
R – Rolling camera(phone)
A – Affected performances
M – Movie star in the making
A – Amateur dramatics!

See you tomorrow!

A great prompt word to kick us off with, Sis. I can relate to the worry you are going through with Lil Princess, I remember when Miss Hap was doing something similar. Mind you, now she is a teenager, Social Media seems even more important to her! Aaarrrrrrggghhh!!!

Ha. I had a 12-yr-old friend who got way into Musical.ly, and at first i was petrified that she would be trolled or worse, but it proved wonderful for her self-esteem, and I guess the censorship and restrictions on users of the site are effective. Phew!

Your daughter sounds cute. Kids are introduced to social media so early and I think I would not want her sharing either.

I’ve stumbled upon you from the Just Jot January group and I have to follow you because my mission in life is to try and make people smile so your blog title is right up my alley. I hope to be able to follow the whole month of prompts and your first one is a goodie! Nice to meet you. Janet

It’s such a shame to know this time of year is full of so much drama for people. Happy 2018 and I wish you much less drama in relationships and in life.

We start with a bang! Drama is a such a good prompt Ritu. And acrostic is a new word for me, just learned yesterday. I will have to take my hand at that. One cannot be too careful online. Good there is no sharing. Sounds like loads of fun though. Happy New Year.

Thank you! Drama was the first thing that came to mind after eventful holiday happenings!!!
But yes we try hard to shield the kids to some extent from the horrors of Social Media… though for how long? My son is turning 13 this year… He already wants Insta and Snapchat!
      Happy New Year 🎉🎊🎉
