Em over at Em Linthorpe has created a most wonderful FB group for bloggers, now that our most fave group Big Up Your Blog, started up by the fabulous Suzie, of Susie Speaks, has now retired…
It’s called the Pickled Blog Project! Awesome, eh!!
And she has set up her very own tag… #PickledBlogs!
Here are the rules…
- Answer the questions.
- Link back to this very post.
- Use the hashtag #PickledBlogs on any social media shares so everyone can find your post, and in the title of the blog post too if you like.
- Feel free to tag some of your blogging friends at the end.
And so to the questions!
1. What is your favourite pickled item to eat?
I love a side of mango pickle with my sunday paratha – typical Punjabi Sunday lunch!
2. Tell us about a time you were in a “bit of a pickle” (a tough situation)
I find myself in ‘pickles’ rather a lot! Due to me engaging mouth before brain! I’m constantly dropping myself in the proverbial sh*t!
3. Pickle Rick, a character from Rick and Morty, is a personal hero of mine. Who are your heroes?
My hero has to be Winnie the Pooh! Isn’t he just the greatest? Fuzzy little wuzzy all stuffed with fluff!
4. If you had to live in a jar, what three items would you take with you?
Well, being in a jar, I’d be on view all the time, so my makeup bag so I looked half decent, my phone to take selfies as I would look so great all the damn time and use the WP app to write posts, and my ever charged (thanks for that idea Em!) Kindle so I could read forever!
And as for tagging others, I tag all the Pickled Bloggers so far!!!!!!

I love Pooh Bear! I’m currently reading the Tao of Pooh, which looks at Taoism through the stories of Winnie the Pooh! It could be a real niche to be writing a blog from inside a jar!

Have you ever tried pickled onions and carrots on your seafood? I had that a lot when I lived in Jamaica. It’s delicious!

Not a seafood eater? Blasphemy! 😮 I’m a pescetarian. Couldn’t imagine my life without seafood. Maybe pickled onions will convert you 😂

Ha Ha! I can just about manage a little cod, and weaned myself onto salmon. Tuna is ‘okay’. just recently, I started to try king prawns, but nothing with shells! Can’t be shelling things!
It’s bad enough with a hubby who likes to try things like crab and lobster, but won’t do the dirty work, because he makes a God awful mess, and ends up with hardly any meat, so I have to do it! Hate the smell!
I’ll stick with my fish fingers lol!

Hahahahaha! I confess, I don’t know how to make crab or lobster but I wish I did. Above all, I wish I knew how to make mussels. That is my absolute favourite seafood choice.

Top class answers! I so didn’t think about how much one would be on display in a jar 😮
I’m a tad bit paranoid about this hypothetical situation now, bahaha!
Thanks so much for taking part and for being a top mate 🙂 x
