Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “card.” Use it any way you like. Enjoy!
I love card.
I have a ton of it at home, craft card in all colours, weights and patterns, squirrelled away for all those home art projects, I never do.
It’s stored safely with the myriad pens, pencils, cutters, stickers, tapes, glues, glitters, sequins, etc that I have also collected along the way.
I also love cards.
Greetings cards: birthday, anniversary, new baby, new home, congratulations, wedding, condolence, just because cards.
I love them so much that I joined a monthly card scheme where a variety of cards were posted to me, cards for all occasions, then I had to stop as I gained a huge collection, then forgot to use them, buying others instead, whenever I needed one!
And don’t forget playing cards!
As a family, we used to play a lot in the evenings when I was growing up. We played various games, and I remember my mum not wanting to as she had been brought up to believe playing cards was not an appropriate pass time for young ladies!
Oh, there are also your bank cards, membership cards, loyalty cards, the cards that mean my wallet won’t do up, even there isn’t really any money in it!
Who doesn’t love a card!

Cool prompt. I love playing cards and used to create cards with so many different techniques. I miss that and crafting in general.

Before I had a laptop, I would carry a deck of cards with me when I traveled. Playing cards are cheap entertainment. After I had the laptop, I played solitaire on that.

A great response, Ritu. I love reading these prompts, it is fascinating how what occurs to one person doesn’t make it onto another person radar at all. I wouldn’t have thought of this approach at all.
