I know, it is so difficult Ritu. missing my mum and dad terribly. Especiall, as mum had a fall recently and had to get stitches in her head. It just seems to be one thing after another and I feel so far away. Still, she is a strong lady (even if she is nearly 80!) and seems to have bounced back. Tough times, we just have to hope that 2021 will be a better year. Sending love and hugs, Marje x

Yes, she is doing well. Worried about dad too age has caught up with him at 91. It was bound to happen and this covid hasn’t helped. Hope your family are okay and you are too. Marje x

Bless them, both.
Here, I get to see the in laws at the door as I drop the kids to them (childcare bubbles) before school, but Pops and mum… It’s been a while. Still, we are in touch everyday 🥰

Hang in there, Sister. This year taught us to take a look at what’s really important and to appreciate those things we may have taken for granted.

At least the usual holiday pressure (to put on the perfect dinner, or get the perfect present, etc) is off us! My Thanksgiving turkey is still in the freezer, and it may be there past Christmas!

I bought a small turkey joint and stuck it in the freezer as we still don’t know our plans… But you’re right, the pressure to do a perfect dinner is off! (I don’t even have a dining table at the moment, as it’s been commandeered as a work from.home desk for my hubby!

I can’t help but think this virus will bring us closer together. Your poem sure puts everything into perspective, Sis. You’re right, we must treasure what we have together. ❤

There are definitely people who will take positives from this pandemic, but it sure hurts, not being able to be with the one we love for so long ❤

We’re so used to being by ourselves, no family around. I can only imagine how hard it is for you and your family. Hopefully, this will end soon. ❤
