#SoCS July 9, 2022 – Make A Note

Linda’s SoCS prompt.

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “make a note.” Do with it what you will. Have fun!

This feels like a very apt prompt for me, right now.

Some of you will have read my Chai Post a couple of weeks ago, detailing the decline of my memory, as I head into Peri-Menopause.

I find myself constantly reminding myself to make a note of everything I am told because I will forget it, if not. My phone calendar is being used more than ever.

I have notepads everywhere, too! Work lists, shopping lists, home lists, calendars, diaries… the list of my notes and lists is endless!

It’s a wonder I manage to remember how to get home!

I thought it was just I (or, is ‘me’, the correct pronoun?).

I am so used to making notes and checklists. There so much going on in so many different sections of my life. Also, I have a notebook next to my bed if something comes to my mind. Otherwise, I cannot sleep because I try not to forget what I thought of 😄

The problem with a duplicate list is remembering to cross the item off on both – Hmmm, didn’t I already do this????

I often make lists to help me remember, and then forget them at home as I head out)

Coming home, we are sometimes on remote control. I remember pulling up into my drive and then realising we’d moved two weeks before!
