It’s always lovely to be recognised for an award and especially when you are given a brand new award.
This is the case today.
Our lovely blogger It’s Good To Be Crazy Sometimes, nominated me for this newbie award, the Miranda Sings Award!
Thank you so much! I always so humbled to be chosen for awards 🙂
The award is a new one created by Claudia’s Thoughts to celebrate yourself and let us all know what you are happiest about, when it comes to yourself.
Rules:
-
Announce your win with a post and link the blogger who nominated you.
-
Include the featured image on your blog post.
-
Nominate 10 bloggers (or as many as you can think of) and link your awardees in the post.
-
List 7 things you love about yourself (This can be about your appearance, your personality, your achievements, etc.)
-
Don’t use negative connotation. (I.e. Don’t say things like – I’m prettier than an average person or People have told me I’m smart. You ARE pretty. You ARE smart etc!)
OK so it’s a not weird writing things I love about myself. .. but here goes!
1. My family. Without them, I would not be the ‘me’ I am today 🙂
2. My positivity. Try me. I can usually find the silver lining in most situations!
3. My imagination. It can take me all sorts of places, and I’m sure many of you have seen that when I’m writing!
4. My hair. It’s curly and crazy. .. Kinda like me!
5. My job. I teach and I do believe I’m good at what I do. I love knowing I’m moulding the future generations… even though they are driving me crazy this year!
6. My smile. I believe a genuine smile can reach places other actions cannot. It became my identity at university. If someone didn’t know my name, they’d refer to me as ‘that smiley, curly haired girl from Birmingham”!
7. My storytelling ability. I am not afraid to say it. I love to read stories, and I’m good! I am often asked at school if I can go read a story in other classes, but due to having my own class now, I cannot often do this.
And to my nominees…
My Blog sis and soon to be birthday girl, Judy!
As always, no pressure to respond but if you do, please link back to me so I can read your response!

Inspirational women… there are many out there, both dead and alive. It’s hard to find just one, but I have to choose Princess Diana, Lady Di, Diana Spencer. I loved to read all about her, all the things she did, her charitable concerns, and her family life. She was a lady who, despite immense pressure, was there for her children, and for the people of her country, and fought for those around the world in difficulty, and she really made a difference. Despite being hounded daily, and when he was divorced from Prince Charles, being maligned by many, she still went on doing good, not caring what others thought, and helping to bring up two young sons, who have grown up to be a credit to her.
