Ooh, I’m sure I could have fun with this!
It’s a glorious day, the sun is blazing, I’ve got my rag top down, cruising the streets, en route to the beach. Off to meet my girls, for an afternoon of fun and frolics. It’ll be great! Drink in hand, chilling on the sand, watching the muscle heads exercise, the girls in their skimpy bikinis strutting their stuff.
But I miss what I’d be doing back home. There probably wouldn’t be sun, more like rain… No beach, but some shopping, watching the pennies draining from my purse…oh, and a cup of tea!
And I’m here, sitting in California… dreaming.
Ok, so it’s not as great as the others but forgive me, it’s the Easter holidays, the kids are driving me insane and it’s only day 1!!!

I’m about to invite you to join in a challenge I recently accepted. Five Photos, Five Stories. I thought this challenge could present you with the opportunity of viewing blogging from a different angle, to do something different, anything that suits you for that matter. It’s entirely up to you. …
There are some rules that go with it which are as follows:
The Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge rules require you to post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or simply a short paragraph – it’s entirely up to you.
And at the end of each day, nominate one other blogger to take part.
Cloud, as far as the eye can see…
it may not look like it, but it was a glorious day, hot. The sand was beautifully soft, and there were the most amazing shells to be collected! Lil Princess and I had our outing, thanks to her nursery, to a seaside town not far from where we lived. Yet, try as I might, we could not get a picture of blue sky, as, well, you can see.. Cloud as far as the eye could see!
