Bed-lam!

Well, as some of you know, we ordered a new bed, old one was on its last legs.
Well we were told the new one would be 2-3 weeks… Well, now, as the base has finally given way, they say 2-3 weeks more, on top of that!!!
Hubby Dearest was not impressed! Especially as he wanted to wait before ordering from this company. Don’t get me wrong, they are no small concern, Carpetright/Sleepright. Anyway, after several phonecalls over the last couple of days, he’s convinced them to sort out a temporary base, at least, until our bed arrives.
Great!
It just meant totally dismantling the old one first, as they are delivering tomorrow!
So my helper arrived…

See mummy, I'm sooo helpful!

And then found the nuts n bolts far too interesting!

Ooooh Toys!!

So after dispatching him to the rest of the helpful bunch, I finished, and back aching, settle on my bed for tonight…

Just a mattress, but hey, at least it lays flat, unlike the old base!

Here’s hoping all is OK and we get a decent bed, and sleep from tomorrow!!

Getting the claws out!

We had a falling out last night, Sonu Singh and I…
And he tried to scratch my face…
Here I realized the claws were in desperate need of a clipping…

Youch!!!!

So this morning, the job began…

Sizing up the enemy...

Let me tell you, when he was pretty tiny, around 6 months old, I was clipping his claws, and put them down mid clip. He saw an opportunity, and somehow managed to pick them up with his mouth, and carry them off. Obviously he thought if he hid them from mummy, clipping wouldn’t happen! Anyway, they were too heavy so he dropped them at the top of the steps and started batting them down, one step at a time…he was half way down when I caught him. Foiled!!!
