No maintaining here this week I’m afraid! Too much fun, and eating plenty meant a gain of 1.5lbs but as I am still way below my 9 and a half stone limit, I think that’s ok!
I have enjoyed much food with my parents, eating naughtily as well as healthy!
As you an see, a mix of naughtiness, and good stuff!
Because of the holidays we are eating more relaxed, and I am quite happy with that. I am encouraging the kids to walk more, so hopefully that will be a good thing this week!
No recipe this week, purely because I haven’t the time!

Today I give you Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head. I know I posted this song last month too, as part of my #musicalmarch challenge, but I really love the positive message it sends. It is really me, if you know what I mean, even though things may be rough, I know it won’t last, and the sun will shine on me sooner or later!
Something even more fun, while rooting through old things at home, I found an old vinyl copy of this song!
Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn’t mean my eyes
Will soon be turning red
Crying’s not for me ’cause,
I’m never gonna stop the rain
By complaining,
Because I’m free
Nothing’s worrying me
It won’t be long
Till happiness
Steps up to greet me
And today, I nominate my bloglings, Rich and Erika! Because it’s all about the music, and I know you two luuuurve music!

So today, on the first day, I am posting a relatively new song which really resonates with me. Often we are in situations where we have blame put upon us, and it isn’t our fault. Things happen that are not in our control, yet we are the scapegoat for all the issues. I find myself singing along to this song with so much passion… because I’m only human after all…
Human, by Rag’n’Bone Man.
Some people got the real problems
Some people out of luck
Some people think I can solve them
Lord heavens above
I’m only human after all
I’m only human after all
Don’t put the blame on me
Don’t put the blame on me
I’m only human
I make mistakes
I’m only human
That’s all it takes
To put the blame on me
Don’t put the blame on me
