Ok, so we might be mad, but my BlogPal Janey at Cupid or Cats and I had a really spectacular(-ly silly!) idea on one conversation we had after reading one of her posts regarding the fact that most kids nowadays don’t get to go through the geeky tween/teen years, instead, going from cute kid to almost perfect made up teen… Thanks to all the media coverage about appearance.

But you know what, if you haven’t gone through the embarrassing stage, there’s a huge part of your character you haven’t built! And with this in mind, we thought what a great idea to dig out and post embarrassing pics of ourselves. Have a giggle yourself at your uncomfortable tween/teen self, and give others a laugh too!!

Just to make it fun, and to spread the giggles, I will tag 3 fellow bloggers I would like to do this, just for a laugh! But don’t feel pressurised, by any means, it’s just a giggle!

And, to make it more worthwhile I’m texting a donation to a charity, Cancer Research, for their research towards childhood and teenage Cancers.

Actually, not goth, but the brows and dark lips still there, at uni, in The USA actually! We were doing a play for schools on a travelling tour!

Well, I tried to take my break for Hubby Dearest’s sake, and I did. But he got home late, and after ironing for over an hour, a cup of tea and toast, I was creak crackered (knackered, tired)! Tried to get an early night (11pm, early for me!) but was woken but the Lil Princess joining the party at around 4am, then Sonu Singh practically sitting on my head!

And, oh joy, it’s Monday again…!

Half term over, for me at least. It’s teacher training day, so I’m in, but kids have one more day of freedom. My lovely Sister-in -Law (SIL) is looking after them today.

Woke up, managed to briefly check my reader and notifications too… Now need to haul myself into the shower and wake the sprogs!

I am still as tired as I was at the beginning of the weeks break… If not more…

Monday…!WHY!!!!!!!!!!!

I am bidding you adieu.. for the evening. I have been extremely faithful to my WordPress reader, every morning and evening, and times in between, but I have hence been lax towards my Hubby Dearest! He did comment that he wishes he hadn’t introduced me to tablet technology as it follows me to bed, and takes all my attention! (He was joking, he encourages me to write!)

So tonight, he is on his way back from the airport, after dropping his parents off. They are off to the Motherland for a 2 month trip, as they usually do every year. I know he will be grumpy, and tired, from the weather, and traffic, its a 4 hour round trip, so I don’t blame him, and I need to devote myself to him!!!

So, forgive me if I don’t get to read your posts and like or comment tonight, but I’ll be back in full force tomorrow, hopefully!

We’ve come a long way!

It’s pretty amazing. I stumbled upon this whole blogging malarkey totally by accident.

At the end of November, 2014, one of me good friends started a blog, and there was that inviting little button, asking me to log in, or create an account… Well, a bit like Alice in Wonderland, I was curiouser and curiouser and I just had to press it, and create an account!

I had no idea that it would become such a crazy, yet important part of my life! I have unleashed my creativity that had become buried under mummyhood, and work, and been forgotten, I am airing views, and best of all I’ve made some great connections with new blog-pals!!

It still amazes me that there are people out there who are genuinely happy to read what I write, and the encouragement I get from you all is priceless! The technical advice from Tom has been invaluable too!

I’m not the most technical of people but I have managed to link this blog to Twitter, Google+, It’s very own Facebook page, and now I feature on Bloglovin too! (check out snazzy button below!)

So, coming to the end of this, my third full month here, I’m about 10 shy of 300 WordPress followers, another 90ish have decided I’m a good bet to follow on Facebook, and a few others on the Twitter/G+ and now Bloglovin… Wow! Oh and not to mention that 5 people felt I was worthy of awards!

Over 7000 views, nearly 2000 comments, and I’m blown away by the different countries my the end of that followers number, and I commented ‘from your mouth to God’s ears’. He replied that it needs to get to other bloggers ears too, but that that would be an interesting one, what would God blog about?

Got me thinking… what would He blog about? Would he be sitting up in his cloudy armchair on his HiPad, creating poetic verse? If He was just musing on the day to day goings on in his life, it would be a lengthy read, as, well, He sees everything! Or would He be lamenting, commenting on the goings on of the world, and how all these creatures He had created were ruining everything He had so neatly laid out??

I don’t know but its an interesting one! What do you think God would blog about?

‘S how it felt today.

I tried to rest… But still ended up making kids lunch… And ours…
And despite reassurances that he’d do it, I did Lil Princess’s homework with her.
And sorted mid afternoon snacks…
By now I gave up. Showered and got ready.
He stayed in bed!!!

Like I said, its not easy being ill, and being a mum…
