#JusJoJan – January 23rd, 2018 – Colour

Day twenty-three of #JusJoJan!

I’m going to try to write on each of the prompts!

Today the prompt is:

Your prompt for January 23rd 2018, brought to you by the kind, considerate and eloquently snarky  Supernatural Snark, is “Colour.” Use it any way you’d like in your post. And make sure you visit Snark at her blog, “Supernatural Snark” to read her post and say hi! Here’s her link: https://supernaturalsnark.wordpress.com/

Colour

What colour is your soul?
Pure as the driven snow
Or dark as the shadows of the night?
Does it glow bright,
Like the morning light
Or is it dim
Like covert sin?
Is it a rainbow
Reflecting every hue?
A complete picture
That is truly you.

See you tomorrow!

Five Photos Five Stories Challenge – Day 4 Colour

I received a challenge from the lovely Edwina, of Edwina’s Episodes for the Five Photos, Five Stories challenge

I’m about to invite you to join in a challenge I recently accepted. Five Photos, Five Stories. I thought this challenge could present you with the opportunity of viewing blogging from a different angle, to do something different, anything that suits you for that matter. It’s entirely up to you. …

There are some rules that go with it which are as follows:

The Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge rules require you to post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo.  It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or simply a short paragraph – it’s entirely up to you.

And at the end of each day, nominate one other blogger to take part.

Colour…

It was a most wonderful day, the Olympic flame was passing through our town, and stopping at our Gurdwara, our temple. The town’s population lined the streets to see this once in a lifetime event happening first hand, and at the temple it was no different. All the Sikh population able to come, was there, dressed up, in all their finery, and bright colours, and the local Bhangra team was no different, decked out in their traditional garb, looking like beautiful exotic birds… It’s a shame the Mayoress hadn’t made more of an effort eh!

And today I nominate Jen from Dorkchops.

Please don’t feel obliged to take part but it would be fun if you do!
