Sue’s photo prompt this week…
If he strained his eyes enough he thought he could make out the right tower. He was sure it was the second turret along that the fables mentioned.
It had taken him hours to hack this far into the brambles and trees that had grown over the last 100 years, and finally, his prize was almost within reach.
His Princess, asleep in the castle. He knew only his kiss would rouse her, now he just had to hack a few more branches away…
But, suppose she wasn’t the beautiful Royal he had been led to believe? Would he have the stomach to kiss someone foul?
Man up Prince! This was possibly the only way he would be king of any land, being the youngest of 4 boys. There was no way his turn would come, back home. He had to take this chance…
But I Smile Anyway...
