Well Happy Boxing Day Morn to you all!
I trust you all had a wonderfully festive day, and that Santa visited, and gave you all you wished for!
I went to bed yesterday, festively plump, but extremely happy. It was a good day!
The big man had been!
There was wrapping paper everywhere, and two very happy kids!
Oh, and furbaby was just as excited with a new assortment of boxes and paper to shred!
Doing his usual, Where I fitz, I sitz mission!
Then we had a mad rush to get the house ready to hold yet another furbaby! No, not a new member of the family, but my Hubby Dearest’s cousins were coming with their beautiful, but rather large and boisterous Staffie, Alfie! At 39kg, he is not to be sniffed at!
And we eat dinner at my in-laws. My Mum in law is scared of dogs… so we had to somehow arrange our house to accommodate these two, separated, with no chance of meeting!
After this was all done, we went over to spend the lion’s share of the day, with the in-laws. The dinner was partly prepared by my superstar of a sister in law, so I just walked into the kitchen, and got busy helping out!
Dinner was served!
After present giving, take two, and a dessert stop, we made our way back to the four-legged members of the family. Don’t worry they weren’t alone for long, the boyz of the family popped in and out to feed, and water them regularly!
It wasn’t a late one, the cousins had to get back their neck of the woods, with Doggy in tact, I had to get overexcited children to bed, and most of us were generally tired, from a busy rushing around day!
I have never been a dog lover, to be honest, but when Alfie comes round I do love a good cuddle!
Oh and I didn’t share with you what I was given for Christmas!

Well, It’s Christmas Eve eve, the presents are all wrapped and hidden from children and furballs, the Turkey is in the fridge, all the food is bought, the threats that Santa won’t come if they don’t behave are still having some hold over the kids (cruel, yes I know, but admit it, we all do it!)
