This is one of those snowball days again!
Now, I opened notifications to find the sweet Janet of The Storyteller blog has gone and nominated me for another award today! Wow!!!

Thank you so much Janet! If you read my blog regularly, you know my stance on awards, if someone has thought to nominate me, there must be a reason, and I must be thankful for that! Up until now my life was busy, but flexible enough that I could be prompt with these acceptances, but with the new job, I might be slower, but they will come, I will do my best to hold tight on that vow! I am truly grateful to be awarded the Very Inspiring Blogger Award!

In your personal life, which person inspires you the most?

As always, I say what my main inspiration is and that is my family… Not one person. All theses special people give me the push to carry on! 😊
Who is your role model?

I don’t think there is any one person I want to base myself on, but I aspire to be like my parents in many ways, they are, to me, perfect specimens of the human race, in mind, body and spirit!
Which sound do you hear this current moment?

The TV!
Do you make efforts to make others feel emotionally and mentally stronger?

110%!! That is one of my aims in life, to make people see the good in them, and around them, and I guess that in itself would make someone mentally and emotionally stronger.
Which is the best quote for you?

1. Why do you blog?
To fulfil my need to write!

2. Favorite music?
I like too many genres, from 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s pop, soul, swing, R’n’B, Hip Hop, Disco, Bhangra, Bollywood….

3. What would be your perfect day?
To wake up,when my body and mind is ready, spend time with my loved ones, somewhere hot, where I don’t have to do housework!

4. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I don’t know why, but I really want to go to the Bahamas!

5. Favorite author?
I don’t have one favourite, I like far too many!

6. Coke or Pepsi?
Coke

7. What is your favorite historical time period?
Interesting question… I live the idea of being a young adult in the 60’s!

8. Read on a Kindle or paperback book?
Paperback for definite, but Kindle for convenience!

9. Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island?
Easy, my family!

10. Favorite color?
Purple… A recent development. I never had favourites, but my class children would always ask, and this was my answer, and it actually has become my favourite!

11. What do you hope people get out of your blog?
A chance to laugh,mor smoke, at least, with a few ‘Awwww!’ moments!!!!

Oh goodness me! It’s happened again!

1.Is there any kind of a doctor you don’t mind going to?
I’d rather not see any doctor’s to be honest, unless they are my friend, and I am seeing them socially!

2.If you were to recommend a good book for one of your parents to read what would it be?
For my mum, anything by Indu Sundaresan, as she would enjoy the historical stories set in Mughal India.

3.What are your honest thoughts on A Song of Ice and Fire, aka Game of Thrones?
I haven’t had the time or inclination to watch it!

4.What game is your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate!

5.Do you read gossip blogs?
Not religiously

6.What’s the one place in the world you’d like to visit, truly if you had a chance? Even if you’ve been there already?
The Bahamas!

7.Who is your inner nerd?
I think I am generally a nerd.. so inner/outer, it’s all the same!

I am already with my dream guy, I have my dream family (though they can act like nightmares sometimes!) and recently I have landed my dream job…
Imagine my pleasure when I opened up an email from the lovely Rob from The V-Pub telling me he was awarding me The Infinity Dreams Award!

Awarded 3/6/15

I know I am crazy busy right now, but there are some things I just have to do… and firstly it is to be grateful to my amazing nominator, Rob, for choosing me, among a group of brilliant blogs, to receive this award. Thank you so much, Rob, and please anyone who isn’t already, get on over there to check his brilliant blog out!

Here are the rules for this award:

2. Tell us 7 dreams of yours.

So, 7 dreams of mine… Jeez Rob, you always give me things that are so hard! I count myself really fortunate in that I have achieved pretty much everything that I really wanted, from my life partner, to my family, to my career, and life in general, so some of these will end up being extremely frivolous dreams!

And they are…

To live in a place where my parents are close by, and my in-laws, so we can see easily. I miss being able to only see my mum and dad when we make the 3 hour trip… It would be so great to be able to see them more…
To be able to provide my children with everything they need and require, and be a good parent.
To win the lottery so we could get a bigger house, or stay where we were, and really modify it! Maybe that way I’d get the walk in wardrobe I always wanted!
A brand new car would be cool! I don’t know what, as I am not a car person, I just know that having something new is always great!
To be able to eat as much as I wanted, and whenever I wanted, without adding the excess lbs !!!!!
A guaranteed holiday in the sun every year, for us.
To be the best teacher ever!
