A traiku for today.
Like a fortress wall
Your heart, closed tight to my love
Impenetrable
But I won’t give up
I’ll scale the walls with passion
Conquering your heart
I’ll open your doors
Let love pour into your life
To warm that cold heart

First a Haiku about the word…
‘To mingle among’
Middle English origin
Of Geoff’s word ‘Mongrel‘
Then a Tanka…
‘Mongrel‘ animals,
Offensive or just a word?
I don’t really know…
Is Sonu a mongrel cat?
Maybe, but he is Purrrfect!
