Perfect Imperfections

I’m not perfect but
My perfect imperfections
Make me pretty close
Ritu 2015

I’ve been in bed all day. Worrying about something that is out of my hands, but the culmination of which could change my life considerably.

It involves an acceptance, or in essence, a rejection.

But it occurred to me that it’s really up to me how I take whatever the outcome.

If it is a positive, then really, my tension should go away, and I should be able to sleep peacefully at night, happy in the knowledge that I was the right person, the perfect person.

But if it ends in rejection, does that mean that I am not good enough? Not perfect?

Well the above haiku I penned is what I decided. No matter what the decision, for my faults, or imperfections which we all have, I’m perfect for me.

I’m perfect in someone’s eyes.

Maybe not everybody’s but I don’t care!

There may be things about me that might not tick everyone’s boxes, but my differences are what make me the person I am, and the way I am, brings much, to many.

So whatever the outcome, I will look in the bright side. I won’t take it as a kick in the teeth if it is not the outcome I wanted, but that I’m standing at the bottom of another learning curve which I will overcome too, and that with a smile on my face!

And if I get the acceptance I crave, then I’ll probably berate myself for not having more faith in myself, but again, it’ll be with a smile!

Be positive Peeps, it’s the best way to be!

If you’re not, you’ll end up like me today, in bed with a sore head, something I do NOT wish to repeat!

My glass is always half full! Never half empty…

I am in the same boat for a possible job opportunity! I choose to stay positive about it though, as much as I want an answer right this second lol

I was searching for this quote I’d read that seemed appropriate but I couldn’t find it – it went something like this though, what might seem wrong now just puts you in a better place for the good that is coming toward you somewhere along the road.
Hope you get the result you want but if not now, then somewhere along the road.
On another matter this is the first time in ages I’m reading your actual blog as opposed to being glued the WordPress app on my tablet, so I’ve got to see your list blogs I think are… (modesty forbids me), thank you for including me – it made my day.

I love the way you think about this. There are so many things out of our control and we could get nuts because it is. We wish for a certain outcome but have to remain in uncertainty depending on other people or developments. The only thing that can help us is having faith that however it will turn out will be perfect for us in the end. There is always something in it for us but we never know the path that leads us there too. It can be the greatest blessing when our desired outcome is not coming true because we would never experience the most wonderful unfolding in which it results. But therefore we need patience and faith in order to not block the flow. I know it is easy said. I guess you are as impatient as I am but there is one wonderful quote I always recall when I am in such situations: “Be open to everything and attached to nothing.” Keep up your positive and empowering thoughts and in the end all will be well – no matter how it turns out.

I admire you for your positive attitude Ritu. I hope that you do get the outcome you want but you know if you don’t then maybe something else is planned for you! 🙂
