Isn’t this all you could ask for, from a true friend!
Someone who doesn’t want to influence you, make you part of a ‘clique’ change you, impart their views on you.
Someone who is independent, not clinging, and needing you at every step of their life.
But someone who travels the journey of life alongside you, and yes, there might be times when your opinion is needed, there may be times when you need the support, but for the most part, there are just people who bond, who gel together, who almost become a part of you.

My best friend sent that to me once. I love that quote! He forsake me pretty bad but he seems to slowly realize that our friendship is a gift he won’t get a second time ;-)… men!!!
