Me and my Pops
It’s my dear Pops birthday today!
He’s the youngest 69 year old around!
His love and care is genuine
No better dad to be found!
He’s always there come thick or thin
With his hugs and soulful eyes,
And if something is troubling you
His words are always wise.
We laughed lots growing up
His sense of humour is the best!
And if we were down, in need of hugs
His cuddles were the best!
And now it’s time to celebrate
What more can I say?
But to wish my Precious Pops
