Oh, I love to listen to a bit of Depp philosophy once in a while… and looking at him isn’t too much of a chore either! Swoon!
Think about it.
You can desensitise your senses if you want to.
Close your eyes so you can’t see something…
Block your ears if you don’t want to listen…
Hold your nose if you don’t want to smell…
Close your mouth if you don’t wish to taste…
Keep your hands to yourself if you don’t wish to touch…
But how can you stop ‘feeling’? It is easy to outwardly show that something is not affecting you, but there may be an inner turmoil churning inside of you as your heart feels emotions, good or bad.

I’m not sure how to control the emotions we feel. I’m afraid I can’t even pretend to do it convincingly. I tend to show my emotions pretty clearly on my face. (Of course, having the paper bag helps.) 🙂

Loved the Depp philosophy, Ritu. You’re right about the looking! I couldn’t resist “casting” him in my story.
We can certainly choose our thoughts, our emotional reactions. It’s difficult to choose emotions, but we can learn. Choosing thoughts is even harder… but with practice… Huge hugs 😀
