#SoCS April 21/18 – spoke

Linda’s prompt for SoCS this week…

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “spoke.” Use it somewhere, in some form, in your post. Bonus points if you don’t use it in the first sentence. Enjoy!

There was a young lady from Pinner
Who always appeared such a winner
But she spoke as she ate
Not bothering to wait
No manners while scoffing down dinner!

Sorry, such a silly effort, but my brain was on strike… nothing spoke to me… apart from silly limerick rhymes!

Happy Saturday Peeps!

I chose not to get the bonus points – though, I did manage to use the prompt word quite a few times.
    Have a great weekend, Ritu.

It’s a funny limerick with an interesting character who arouses my curiosity. Not that I want to eat dinner with her.
