Spidey’s Serene Sunday – Part 188

“Your illness does not define you, your strength and courage does.” – Unknown

Thanks, Spidey.

A quick shoutout to all those Cancer patients and survivors out there.

I’ll be recovering from my fundraising walk for Cancer Research UK when you read this.

(Actually, I hope we will have actually finished…!)

But no matter!

We have raised a great amount to help this charity continue doing the amazing work they do.

We have all been touched by this disease, in one way or another, either knowing someone who has suffered and come through, or sadly lost their fight, or even been one of the warriors against it ourselves.

Here’s hoping there will be a time when Cancer is a thing of the past…

If you were to fundraise for a charity, which would it be? 😘

Have a peaceful Sunday Peeps ❤ And enjoy your week!

I fundraise for literacy any way I can! Often all I have to give is my time or my expertise as a teacher of reading and of writing, but I hope that makes some small difference in a few lives. I, too, am a cancer survivor. Last August was my anniversary of 19th year being cancer free. God is sooooo good.

I hope you’ve recovered well once you read this.
Thank you for your engagment in this important thing. I’m ashamed of myself, ‘ cause where are you not a role model now? ‘ Have a nice week. Michael

With Sis having her cancer show up yet again,I begin to feel this post immensely. We let the doctors work and they do work hard, but they don’t know everything about this devastating illness.
I pray for a future in which this disease is gone…soon.

Well done Ritu. I wish cancer would be a thing of the past. One day perhaps. We can only hope.

It is great what you did here. Yes, let’s hope that cancer will soon only be read about but never experienced anymore.

Hi Sis very well done, I knew you would do it. I hope you are feeling okay today.
The quote of Spidey rings true to me. I have lost friends to cancer and family and friends have been touched by it too.
This week I am sponsoring a friend who is having her head shaved for Cancer and attending a Macmillan coffee Day .have a great Sunday you are a 🌟

I’m reading Why We Sleep at the moment. Lack of sleep is a cause of or contributory factor to so many ills, including cancer, that I would support a charity that’s raising awareness about it.

Brava, Ritu!! You did it! I would fundraise for Transverse Myelitis. I have been living with it for 12 years. Not many people know about it and I want to raise awareness!!
