Oh absolutely! I wish I could do it all over again … all of it. I know I’ve made mistakes, but I hope that the good outweighs any bad. Katie

You’re so, so accurate with this. I often find that one of the biggest challenges parents face is being present IN THE MOMENT. Not planning tomorrow’s afternoon, not scheduling something for the weekend, but being exactly where your feet are at all times. This is something I try practicing with my children – being there, connecting with them, supporting them in every little moment. Thank you for the reminder!

If you get a chance, trawl back to my December Blogmas posts .. I posted a whole advent calendar of tips!
But the biggest thing is interaction.
Find blog link parties where you can share your posts.
Share your posts on FB, twitter, mix, Pinterest etc. They really help.
Join FB blogging groups. You get lots of interaction from some of them!
And keep commenting on others too.
You build a community which will help you by sharing your posts, and possibly recommending you to their readers, sending traffic your way!
I hope all thus helps!

Yes!!! Quality time and love is the most important thing to giving your kids a good start. (Deuteronomy 6:7
7 and you must inculcate them in your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up.)

So true! 24/7 duty!! The joy and psychic rewards are worth it though! What they don’t tell you and you learn later in life is that you will be Mom forever! A blessing as long as you have closed all the account in the bank of Mom! LOL! Bravo!

Ha! I see we have some of the same instincts – resisted of course! Actually, I found that it was more effective to find chores they hated to do. If they knew that the next time was a chore they hated to do they seemed to behave for quite a long time! LOL! Have a great weekend, My Dear Friend!
