Yup, I’m sat here having a pedicure!
I think I needed a little time out after the last few days/weeks!
What better way than to get my nails done!
Lil Man is much better, thank you to everyone who messaged and commented their concern! Fever is down, pain is still there but not too much now. He’s chilling on the sofa at home.
Lil Princess was firmly ensconced in front of the PC watching various Youtube creative channels, and Hubby Dearest was catching up on his lost Zees too!
I could have, but I know there would be no rest, so instead, I’m at the nail salon, getting pampered. At least I wont get disturbed! I’m scheduling posts on my phone, uninterrupted, and will end with lovely soft feet and shiney nails too!!!
Not too selfish a though was that??!

21 hours no proper sleep…
Nope, I didn’t get to the party…
Got home, Hubby had taken Lil Man to the Doctors.
They arrived back just before 5… I’d had no rest yet.
“We need to get him.to A & E asap to rule out appendicitis.”
Great! He’d developed a fever too, which is not synonymous with muscle pains.
So no party, the 4 of us ended up at the hospital. Poor Lil Man had bloods taken , samples checked, and the first doc came, but was inconclusive. He wanted a senior consultant to check the patient too.
At 4 hours in, the other doc came and said nope, not appendicitis, more likely muscle strain, and the temp might be a mild infection.
So there you have it… My party filled evening!
Lil Man, Lil Princess, Hubby and I are shattered. Kids are asleep, I’m ready to drop off…
At least I know it’s not serious, but boy was I worried!
Thank you for all the get well wishes tboug, Lil Man appreciates them! 🙂

It’s not funny. This meme is more true than ever today…

I’ve had about 3 hours sleep… Lil Man was complaining off a painful hip and stomach yesterday. It appears to be muscular… And at 2am, he came to us in agony. Laying by us, Calpol-ed up, he moaned and groaned through the night… And Sonu Singh chose this night to climb to silly places in our room, and disturb us…

Woke up, (not sure you could call it being awake…) and feel slightly sick. Lil Man won’t be going to school, he’s shattered. And still hurting, so Hubby Dearest will be at home with him… Will we end up at this party tonight??? I have no idea… Still have a day at work to contend with…

I know, I know I am not meant to be coming on here, but, you know what it’s like, I just can’t stay away!!

Been reporting.. done all I can, progress gridding too, and again, I can’t do much more… so I am sorted on that level, thank goodness! I still have observations to do for children, that need printing, but other that, it’s a sorted!

And went to the first of the wedding functions… I knew I would be leaving by 8pm today, like Cinderella’s carriage, I would be turning into a pumpkin if I stayed longer! We have school tomorrow, and Lil Princess was with me too, so she needed to get to bed, and Lil Man seems to have pulled a muscle in his stomach, playing basket ball today, so he was suffering, and also has tests starting tomorrow, so all in all, I needed to get home!

But the function itself.. well no singing for me today, well, none that was not nursery rhyme related! The ladies were singing their slower traditional stuff for ages, and we didn’t get to the fun, upbeat songs that I normally sing while I was there, anyway. But the pre-wedding party is tomorrow so there is plenty of dancing opportunities instead!
