It’s been a little while since I did one of these, and I have to confess, I’m not in a position to correctly accept an award right now, due to personal commitments… i.e. Being a mum in the holidays! 24/7 hour job at the best of times!
However, I still wanted to give a shoutout to Sandra over at A Momma’s View, for thinking of me. She, most deservingly, was nominated for 3 amazing awards, then passed on the awards to a bunch of us, allowing us to choose one or all the awards.

As I can’t do the whole thing, I can’t pretend to have accepted them, but I wanted to give Sandra a shoutout as she is a great blogger,mind if you haven’t followed her yet, I highly recommend you do!!!

I’ve even been featured on there with my ‘Couples Story‘ if you would like to read about how I met my Hubby Dearest!

But, thank you, lovely Sandra!!!! I really appreciate the thought! 😘😘😘

So a few more things about me are:

1) I am a big kid at heart… Its why I’m so at home in my job!
2) I love children’s movies! Total Disney freak!
3) I need a walk-in wardrobe! Too too too many clothes and accesorues, and my mum keeps adding to the collections with her beautiful stuff!
4) I love Tempur mattresses! You tried them? Memory foam… Oooh a great nights sleep!
5) I went to the same school from 3-18years old!
6) I can’t stop buying books!
7) currently, I’m laying here, thinking up facts, back at my parents place, and my daughter us in my bed!
8)I love to swim , wish I could go every day!
9) I still need a holiday… Here’s hoping we can book that short break before school starts again!
10) I’m 40 in less than a month…Aaaaargh!!!

The very sweet Harmonie of Bottled Memos decided to see fit to award me with the Liebster award… And you know me, I hate to disappoint!
However, its a lengthy one, and I did accept it yesterday, and am exhausted of facts about me!!

1. If you could travel anywhere tomorrow, where would it be?
To a quiet place where I’m not disturbed!!

2. Who’s been a positive role model in your life?
I mentioned my parents yesterday, and the other big role model for me us my best friend, who has been there for me always, and who i look up to lots!

3. What do you like about your hometown?
I’ll talk about my home town after marriage today… It’s small, you know lots of people, and we’re close to great shopping, and London!

4. What is the best meal you can prepare?
I can make a mean chicken kebab!

5. What’s your favorite chore to do at home?
Its still ironing!

6. What’s your favorite book?
I can’t single one out!!!

7. What’s the very first thing you would do if you won the lottery?
Double check the numbers!

Mango, and sweet corn!

I loved to plat with m cabbage patch kids!

Inspired!

I though this would be a quiet evening.. no chance! Not in the world of the Ritu!

I have been baking cakes, for a multiple leaving do we have going on tomorrow, then we had dashed to the shops for some last minute things, and we were writing cars to the kids teachers. They went to bed, then I was wrapping presents, and all sorts, and oooh, I had something to unwrap, myself!

Chocolates, a beautifully written card, and a signed book!

My dear Luna Blog Twin Erika had sent me a parcel in the post, and I was so touched to read the beautiful message that was accompanied with the parcel!

Then I got to find that the very same and wonderful lady had nominated me for an award… again!! The Very Inspiring Blogger Award.

What is your best childhood memory? I have to be honest, I don’t have one favourite memory…My childhood in general was an amazing one, and I only hope we have been able to provide the same for our children!
Favorite Disney movie? Easy! Jungle Book! My all time favourite!
Favorite song of all times? I rally can’t choose one song, I love far too many genres!!!
Where do you get your inspiration from? The world and people around me are the ones that inspire me.
