Forgive me Peeps.

Yeah, that’s me right now… in a constant state of ‘Meh’!

I am entering the last week of this first term and I think I will be crawling towards Friday. I am really tired. Things have been too hectic for me this term.I ave coped, just about, but it means that many other things in my life have suffered.

I cannot teach, be wife and mum, writer and blogger to the standard that I want, so I am not going to push myself either.

Rather than write posts that are just full of ‘Meh’, I will just do my weekly challenges for a little while. But I will still be around! I can’t disappear completely! My day’s aren’t complete without reading your posts or answering notifications!

Of course, if inspiration hits, I am sure something will end up being published!

So, forgive me if I don’t seem more ‘present’

But I shall be around…

Enjoy Peeps, and try and learn when you’ve reached breaking point, that it’s better to recoup your energy and start afresh, rather than destroy yourself trying to be a superhuman…

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “well.” Use it any way you like. Have fun!

Well now, that’s a prompt and a half! Well. Use it any way you like.

Do I think of words with well in them, like swell or jewellery? Shall I write about disembowelling or wellbeing? How about farewells or dwellings? What about being well or unwell? Or do I think of the great British weather and discuss wellies, or wellington boots, as they are officially known?

I’m really not sure… my stream of consciousness is veering towards unconsciousness, to be honest! Not from boredom, but more from exhaustion. I’ve had a fraught week at work, and this weekend could not have come soon enough. And so, I leave you with my disjointed, tired thoughts, and hope for a better, calmer week next week!

I wanted to have something really witty to write about this morning… but alas life did not allow me to do that. Instead, work is dragging me down, being faced with some huge responsibilities (which I can handle) and a group of children in a class that I feel I cannot help.

I could have ranted again about the ridiculousness of the Government expectations for children aged 3-5, or moaned about the lazy parenting that results in classes full of children who have no patience, no respect, no clue… but I won’t.

Instead, let me share some Friday Funnies I found on Google, I needed a giggle, and I believe everyone could use one at some point… It’s Friday after all!

I did so well with my weight loss… then holidays happened and a little of the weight crept back… I’m still attempting to eat well, but the naughty snacks keep appearing… maybe I should just accept that my real true love (apart from Hubby Dearest, and my family!) is food!
