Three Day Quote Challenge – Day 1

I was nominated by the lovely Sidra of the blog The 7 Of Us, to take part in the Three Day Quote Challenge.

The Rules :

1) Thank the person who nominated you
2) Post a quote for 3 consecutive days ( 1 post each day )
3) Nominate 3 bloggers each day – I’m sorry, I’m a rebel, but I shall leave this open to you all!!!!!

Now, if you’ve been following this blog for a while, you know I have taken part in this one several times as I love a good quote!

Favourite quotes were used up the first couple of times, so I decided to theme each challenge.

This time I am going with Ernest Hemmingway and his words of wisdom.

This made me feel good. Maybe the reason that first draft took so long, was because I needed to add some more life experience to the mix!

Remember: If you fancy having a go, please do, and link back to this post!

Oh, and while I’m at it, just a quick reminder that the Annual Blogger’s Bash Awards voting closes on Monday, and But I Smile Anyway has been nominated for Best Overall Blogger, if you fancy popping over and voting! You just need to click here.

RAIN!

So, Day three…

” Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… It is about learning to dance in the rain.” – Vivian Greene

You gotta hand it to Vivian Greene!

When life gives you lemons, and all that…

You have to learn how to live with what life throws at you, and what you have been given. If you wait for the perfect moment to arrive, you miss so much of your own life, and experiences that you may never have again.

So go! Dance in the rain, and enjoy it!

And I nominate..Josy, Claire, and Angela!

Thank you and good night day!

And there you have it! I hope my three days of quotes have refreshed you with rain splendour!

RAIN!

So, Day two…

” The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.” – Dolly Parton

Wise woman, that Dolly Parton!

I’m all about embracing the negatives, because they always bring about positives… we could get all cliched, you know, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel, every cloud has a silver lining, etc but hey, their meaning is true! There is always something to hang on to, something to help reel you towards that rainbow, but often you do need to get rained on to achieve it.

And I nominate… Alice, David, and Amelia!

Thank you and good night day!

I’ll be back tomorrow with day 3’s showery offering!!!!

RAIN!

So, Day one…

“Some people feel the rain. Others get wet.” Bob Marley

Love this quote!

Do you feel the rain? I love to watch it. I love to feel it when it is warm, in the tropical countries. I love to think about how it is nourishing everything around, even though it may have just soaked me due to an unexpected downpour!

However, when it means we can’t let the caged animals kids out at school at break or lunchtime, like yesterday, it creates an atmosphere akin to a lunatic asylum in a school as kids NEED  fresh air and run around time!

It was a bit of a mad day, but that would be whole other post!

So, there’s my post for the day.

And I nominate… Katie, Hayley, and Willow!

Thank you and good night day!

I’ll be back tomorrow with day 2’s rainy offering!!!!

Three Day Quote Challenge – Winnie The Pooh Special – Day Three

Thank you, dear Robbie, from Robbie’s Inspiration, for nominating me for the Three Day Quote Challenge!

I have joined in with this before, but you know what, I think you can never have enough inspiration or motivation, so I am happy to share a few quotes!

I chose to use the immortal words of my favourite bear, Winnie the Pooh for my muse over these three days!

I chose this because this encompasses me and my general lifestyle! I am a Virgo, so I should be super organised. In many ways, I am. I’m the Queen of lists, I know how to plan my day so I deliver children to the correct places at the right time. But… my house is a little disorganised. I have piles of things in places. It annoys me, but I figure I don’t have enough hours in the day to sit and sort, because I’m busy enjoying life and making memories! However, times come when I have to do some organising, and when I do, I end up finding countless things I had forgotten about, from a lovely card, to a book I was planning on reading, but forgot where I had put. Sometimes there are photos, and if I’m extra lucky, money! So you see, even Pooh Bear thinks a little disorganisation is a good thing!

I know I am supposed to nominate three people daily, but I would like to invite all my readers to take part in the Three Day Quote challenge!

Give it a twist, select a theme for your three days and inspire us with your chosen words!
