#SoCS July 21/18 – Organ

Linda’s prompt for SoCS this week…

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “organ.” Talk about an organ or base your post on the theme of them … or one. Have fun!

Organ grinder,
Won’t you stop
I feel that I’m
About to pop
The kids are tired,
The teachers too
So little time,
So much to do
A year’s gone by
We worked so hard
I’m so burned out
My body feels charred
Exhaustipated
From bottom to top
So Organ grinder, please…
Just stop!

Ritu 2018

Penned this morning by a very tired teacher… two days to crawl through!

  • Exhaustipated, for those of you that don’t know – so tired I don’t give a sh*t!

Catch ya later Peeps! Happy Saturday!

’feels’ feels wring in the flow, Ritu.

IMHO it may flow better as

’My body’s charred’ (’is’ rather than ’feels’)

    Or even

    ’’My body charred’

Just a thought – I loved the way you got it all across and made the grinding organ cone to life. Ouch!

    Have a lovely weekend, Ritu.

    G:)

My cousin says pretty much the same. I will use exhaustipated with her! But “A years gone by” is a pretty big WTF. Four words to say whoosh. We’re in July already and Sky is showing Xmas movies… what’s that about and when did I blink and lose three months!!

    Nicely done Ritu

I suffered that after mass big exam runs. Last few weeks have been recovering! Schools broke up here yesterday. I heard the kids counting down to 2pm at the primary school I used to be a governor at. Big hit when I thought not that long ago my eldest started his first school day there!! When do you finish and I hope your pops is doing well too x

Awesome to hear that Ritu. Flipping aging sucks. Is he home yet?

He is staying with his niece, my cousin. She lives near the hospital too. When I go, I will settle him back home and stay until my mum is back. I think his yoga has definitely helped his healing. X

Good place to be while recovering then. Yoga is a very understated well being exercise of mind and body too. Kudos to him there. And to you for going to stay. Family is huge… and sadly less than it used to be once upon a time. X
