Ronovan Writes #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Prompt #Challenge 344 BITE and Teeth.

Ronovan’s weekly Haiku Challenge:

Bite & Teeth

It’s no secret, how disappointed I am with the snow offering we had, here where I live, considering the Beast from the Baltic was meant to be visiting. My Haiku/Senryu is dedicated to that beast with less of a roar, and more of a whimper… though it did manage to close our school, because others were much luckier and couldn’t get in because they got several inches of snow, rather than our couple of centimetres!

This was from Sunday. There was a little more on Monday.
Beast from the Baltic
Comes at us baring sharp teeth
But he barely bites!

That’s a very nice use of the words. I know what you mean about that piddling bit of snow. I like it to be enough to last two days at the most! Enough to make a snowball and then melt, not leaving ice.

I think you have been lucky, Ritu. My London colleagues have had a lot of snow and complain it’s freezing. I think snow is pretty but it’s also inconvenient based on my very limited experience.
