Colleen’s Weekly Poetry Tuesday Challenge No. 54: GHOST & HAUNT #Cinquain #Senryu #Haiku

Lovely Colleen has given us some great words for the Poetry challenge this week!

Ghost & Haunt

I’m trying my hand at the Cinquain:

Haunting
Ghostly beings
Floating, stalking, spooking
Chilling feelings spreading about
Scary

And a Senryu (Hope I got it right this time!)

The ghost of your love
Haunting my life forever
I’ll never forget

Then a haiku!

A ghostly presence
Haunting the doorsteps all round
Pumpkin ghoulies grin

Love this! I have yet to try the cinquain and am probably writing senryu but not labeling them as such. Thanks for the inspiring collection. You got this.

Thank you Annette! I am sure I have probably written many Senryu in my previous haiku challenges! And now I am educated by the lovely Colleen!!! The Cinquain is pretty tough, doesn’t flow like my 5/7/5 pieces!!!!! But I think I got it!!! ❤
