#SoCS March 16/19 – Soul/Sole

Linda’s #SoCS prompt this week:

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “soul/sole.” Use one, use both, use ’em any way you like. Enjoy!

A sole soul
Is a very unfortunate one
Where others have lots of company
This one tends to have none

He leads his life
In a solitary way
Not caring at all
If it's night time or day

So if you meet one
Approach with care
And give them a smile
Or a word, if you dare

My, so beautiful! That’s why we should always smile at others. You never know when you meet a sole soul.

We tend to shy away from people we believe are solitary, rather than say that kind word that might make their day or put a smile on their face. I try to say hello to people no matter what, even if they don’t respond, because one never knows how it will affect that person. Very nice, Ritu.

Thank you so much Robbie, and it truly was a stream of consciousness poem… Written in a rich just before midnight last night as I’ve been busy with my parents! 😍
