I’ve decided to combine two prompts for this one piece of syllabic poetry, a haiku/senryu with feeling, Hairyu, anyone?
I have combined the photo from Sue’s #WritePhoto prompt, and entered this in to Colleen#s weekly syllabic poetry challenge, #TankaTuesday. This week it is Poet’s choice of words!

It’s mid month, so we have a photo prompt this week.
A
World where
The ground just
Disappeared
Only safe creatures
Were the birds and the fish
Did you four legged creatures
Find help on Noah's wooden ark?
He promised to save two of each one
It rained for forty days and forty nights
Slowly clouds receded, the sun shone
Water began to go away
Lone dove bore an olive branch
The tops of trees were seen
The world was rid of
Evil people
At least for
A few
