Sacha’s #Writespiration prompt this week:
Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.

Write your 52 words from the perspective of an animal.
Today I was inspired by my best friend’s baby, our cat Sonu Singh, and their first encounter with each other!

Who’s that?
I’m not sure what’s going on here.
I’m used to my two-leggers picking me up and playing with me.
They’re pretty good actually, they feed me, clean up after me.
But what is that?
A little two-legger, who doesn’t even use her legs… and she pulled my whiskers!
I’m off!

Sacha’s #Writespiration prompt this week:
Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.

Next week we will have missed Halloween, so today’s challenge is to write 52 words of a character that is utterly terrified.
Inspired by the hashtag #MeToo that is doing the rounds on Twitter and Facebook at the moment, highlighting abuse that has been hidden for so long.
Those eyes. They won’t stop looking.
Those feet. They won’t stop following.
Those hands. They won’t stop touching.
Those fingers. They won’t stop digging.
My mouth. It won’t open.
My voice. It won’t work.
My feet. They won’t walk away.
My eyes. They won’t tear away from that menacing gaze.
Petrified.
#MeToo

Sacha’s #Writespiration prompt this week…

Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.
Write about what happens next:

What happened next?
What always happens…
I stood there, contemplating the world… then the clouds rolled over.
I could sense the rain about to fall.
I’d come prepared this time though.
Had my hood up ready to combat the torrent that was sure to follow…
But it didn’t.
So I went home.

Saha’s #Writespiration Prompt this week…
Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.

Write about the day you ignored the ‘KEEP OUT’ sign.
The putrid smell emanating from beneath the door compelled me to push it open.
I stepped into a dark room, avoided mould filled vessels and mountains of fabric piled haphazardly to open the curtains…
I wish I hadn’t.
That’ll teach me to ignore signs on the door of my teenage son’s bedroom!

Sacha’s prompt for #Writespiration this week:
Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.
Write about the night you accidentally spent in a museum.
Oh, I could have really run with this one! It was hard to contain it within 52 words, but I did it!
I have a terrible habit of nodding off.
This time, the lost property room at the local museum.
The pile of forgotten coats looked so inviting to my tired body…
I woke to find myself in darkness.
Convinced I could hear the old armour moving, I stayed put until the caretaker arrived!
