R and R Required

It’s come…

I’ve officially hit that level where I feel the need to step back.

Mentally, physically, emotionally exhausted… That’s me.

You may not see my posts popping up as frequently as they usually do, but I’m going to revert to becoming a blog when I can blogger, rather than a scheduled poster…

This is not good bye, by any means, I will still post. I will take part in challenges. And I will most definitely read your posts, as and when I can. I guess I just realised that I am burning the candle at both ends too much.

I would dearly love to take the time, and try and continue with my book too, so I will still be be being productive.

So don’t worry, as I said, if you don’t see my posts… I will be here, honestly!

Thank you my Blogily!!

A Sunny Liebster Day for my Dragon.

Tears. Literally… Rolling down my face. I am so touched by the words of Rich, my blog big bro, regarding his nomination for the Dragons Loyalty award.
This is what I mean by Blogily, peeps. We keep each other afloat sometimes. We’ve become daily parts if each others lives. Blogging is not an obsession, but almost a necessity, to keep the relationships alive, that we have fostered on here in the first place!
Thank you Big Bro!!!! 😘😘😘😘

Catching up

Another lovely post from Sue if The Daily Echo, and she mentioned me under the Blogger Recognition Award.
Thank you Sue, much appreciated!!! 😊

I’m still catching up after the few days away, so I thought I would cover a few blog-related things in one go…and share a few blogs you might like to visit…

First up, Judy from Edwina’s Episodes included me in the Three Day Quote Challenge. I know I’ve done it before, but hey…

So, Day One:

The Fire Of The Dragon

That lovely sister of mine, Erika, has gone and done it again! She only went and nominated me for another award! This time, the Dragon’s loyalty award.
I thank you Erika from the bottom of my heart for your thoughts. I wish I could participate properly, but I am so snowed under as you know, so I wanted to reblog the post as a way of saying thank you!
If you haven’t already peeps, check out Erika’s blog, where you will find inspiration, friendship, motivation and love! 🙂

Old Faces…

IMG_1064

Here’s where the old pics come into play!

Tonight my old school class are having a reunion! I am going to be travelling to Birmingham to my parents, with Lil Princess in tow, to hopefully see many old faces from my school years! We have all changed, married, grown up, become mums or career women, or both, and our main reason for meeting this year? We have all finally turned 40! I thing I was the last one to hit the milestone, and one of the others thought it would be a great time to meet up again!

I’m not sure how many of us are going to be there, out of 50 girls, spread amongst 2 classes, but I am so excited! Some, I haven’t seen for 24 years, some 21, some a little less than that, but I think I can safely say I haven’t met any of my class mates for at least 13 years! The power of social media means we have all been parts of each others lives in one way or another. There probably won’t be huge surprises as to who is who, hopefully we will all remember each others names! (I was always known as Ratty, to my friends, nothing to do with personality, but shortened from my full name Ratinder, once we had watched Wind In The Willows for the first time in school together!)

I haven’t been to a reunion before, and living in Kent after marriage, a good 3 hours away it was never likely that I would bump into people! So here goes to a fabulous night of reminiscing!

I shall make sure I post all about it soon!
