Wishing a wonderful blogger and author, Geoff Le Pard, or lovingly know by me as His Geoffleship a very happy birthday!

And if you are so inclined, his new anthology of short stories is out today too… It’s waiting for me to read already! I recommend it already even without reading as I have read his other collection which was fantastic, and I’ve loved all the other books of his I have read already!

Sacha’s #Writespiration prompt this week:
Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.

This week I want you to write a story including these words:
jugs, bamboo, nostril and frozen.
Sitting under the shade of the bamboo tree, Becca coolly sipped her near-empty drink.
She looked up and saw the most handsome waiter with jugs of cocktails for her. As she raised her glass to drink, the straw went up her nostril.
Frozen with embarrassment, she looked at him then reddened.
“Oops!”

It’s the last Tuesday of the month of November, so the last of Colleen’s Synonym challenges!
This week she left us with:
I found this pretty tough, to be honest! Really wanted to use the actual words!!!

But here’s a haiku ( used artistic license to add a syllable to the last line (naughty me!)
