The song is Inner Dragon’s Monster, not a song I had heard before…

Looking at the back of my hands, covered in coarse hair, I felt my blood boil.

What did I do to deserve this?

I curse the family into which I was born, where we all were suffering the same affliction. We were always told to stick together, because no one would understand…

Every month, as the full moon came out, my transformation began. I had to hide. No one could know my secret.

It had put a stop to any possible relationships, after all which guy in their right mind would be able to cope with dating a monster like me?

Time to see what Dear Hugh has in store for us for our photo prompt this week!

And the prompt is HATS!

Hats.

Now I could have gone the obvious route, being a Sikh, and photographed turbans, but I don’t like to do the obvious. Those who read my blog probably know that already!

I seem to have amassed quite a collection of headwear over the years. Mainly summer hats, hoping for the weather to arrive, where I may wear them, or the right holiday to be booked… it never seems to happen, though!

Still, there was plenty for me to try on, and photograph… the beauty of selfies! In fact, Lil Man, my son, caught me taking pictures, and was looking at me rather strangely. The things we do for creativity!!!!

Anywho, here are my offerings!

What makes me smile?

My kids, my Hubby Dearest, eating good food with good company, looking at our wedding pictures, reading a great book, hearing songs I love after a long time come onto the radio, seeing my nephew on Skype, the sun… the list can go on and on, forI find things to smile about in all places I look 🙂

I am actually going to be a little naughty, but I will ask you all to accept that you have been nominated for this award. An award that makes you think of the positives in life is most definitely something I wish to share with all my Peeps, so consider yourself nominated, if you are reading, and then SMILE!!!!!

Oh, I love to listen to a bit of Depp philosophy once in a while… and looking at him isn’t too much of a chore either! Swoon!

Think about it.

You can desensitise your senses if you want to.

Close your eyes so you can’t see something…

Block your ears if you don’t want to listen…

Hold your nose if you don’t want to smell…

Close your mouth if you don’t wish to taste…

Keep your hands to yourself if you don’t wish to touch…

But how can you stop ‘feeling’? It is easy to outwardly show that something is not affecting you, but there may be an inner turmoil churning inside of you as your heart feels emotions, good or bad.

Open yourselves up, and be real Peeps!
