Animal affection… Blogging 101 Task 12- an extension!

They do have capacity to love, Sonu Singh does anyway! He shows it in different ways.

Here is Sonu’s special friend, Suzy Squirrel… they are very close…!

He loves this squirrel, she is dragged around by the tail, and he shows his affections in interesting ways!(if you know what I mean!) We find Suzy on the bed in the morning, or on the floor by our bed, where he has felt like he needed a cuddle!

My Suzy...<3

My Suzy…<3

But he did have a ‘love’ somewhere else…

Who are you, beautiful stranger....?

Who are you, beautiful stranger….?

The look of love!

Mummy, I wanna find her...!

Mummy, I wanna find her…!

But other than that, he really does love us too! He comes running to Hubby Dearest, and plays so much with him, he has an amazing bond with Lil Man.  In fact, last night, Lil Man had a nightmare and came to our room..Sonu Singh knew this was not normal, his big bro never leaves his bed at night, and almost like being protective, he came and sat on Lil Man’s chest 3-4 times during the night! And though he gets fed up with Lil Princess’s attention, she was ill at the weekend and he came and sat next to her, tentatively stroking her head once in a while!

And as for me, well, he knows what mummy is there for, he meows at me from the moment I wake… for food obviously, and if I haven’t stroked him, I get the weaving around the legs treatment, where he has almost assisted me in my clumsiness, and near broken my neck, as I trip up!  But then I get the days when he just curls up at the foot of my bed, or falls asleep clutching my foot…those moments he feels more precious than ever, and I know he loves us all too!

I enjoyed reading others takes on the Daily Post’s Daily Prompt challenge, which was part of my task 12 on Blogging 101.  Visit some others who used the same prompt, and read, see the difference, and comment on at least 2 of them.

I loved the post by Nelkumi, almost taking the prompt and using it from an animals eyes… so I had to post the above, from my pet’s eyes, inspired by that response!

But I Smile Anyway...

The cure for all ailments…

True words...

True words…

The jolliest people I know look so much younger that their years.  Do you find that?

Those who are able to have a laugh, have a giggle, a good old belly laugh, a guffaw, a titter, you know, all those words, that indicate laughter, and happiness.

In India, they have Laughing Clubs.  Its like the morning walk brigade, but they sit, or stand, in circles just laughing! Great fun! Groups of people, mostly older in age, laughing away, big belly laughs, flailing arms, opening their arms, and so opening their chests, big gulps of air taken in. It’s all oxygen, great for the body and mind!

I want a go… I think I might start my own.  This world doesn’t have enough laughter in it, I think.

We are all so caught up in living life, rushing from one event to another, work to home, cook, clean, look after kids, or going out. In fact we probably don’t even sleep as much as we need, because our time is so precious, we eke out as much as we can… to our detriment though.  We end up starting a day tired, and ratty, irritable, and when you are irritable, when do you fancy a laugh? When you are in that state, sometimes the funniest things do your head in, and you would rather shut the person up, than join in with the giggles.

But this is just it. if you were to laugh, it would probably relieve your tensions more.  My Pops teaches yoga, and the type he teaches has been promoted by Swami Ramdev in India, and to be honest it has been around for aeons… but he has brought it to the forefront of peoples eyes. He was a childhood polio sufferer and by doing various breathing exercises, he really improved his own health. At the end of all his classes, and subsequently at the end of my Pop’s classes, they encourage the whole class to belly laugh for a good few minutes.

I love a laugh.  I cant hold it in to be honest, whether its a child inadvertently saying something inappropriate, or just a genuinely funny joke, I have to laugh!  Maybe that’s why a lot of people think that I don’t look my years.. but on the flip side, I am so tired most of the time, I do get irritated, and find that where I should have laughed, my sense of humour seems to have gone on holiday…oops! I am going to make a conscious effort to laugh more, every day. there is always s something in your everyday life where you can laugh…

So I’m going to challenge you…

Laugh. 😀

Every day. 😀

Find something that makes you openly guffaw. 😀

See whether it makes you feel better. 🙂

I’m going to try it too.. tell me what made you laugh today, and together lets knock a few hundred years off our faces!!!

  4. Nominate some blogs you feel worthy of the award.
  5. Let your nominees know.
  6. Create a challenge question for your nominees to answer too!

So, one and two done, now for the challenge…

For my challenge to the nominees, Describe in great detail how great I am . . . hahahaha, I couldn’t resist. But really, I challenge you to describe what interested you in, or inspired you to blog.

So, I have always loved to write, since I was a teeny weeny one, and that love has never left me, but it has lain by the wayside many a year, to be picked up once in a while, only to be left again, until I had more time… Last November a friend of mine started a blog, about her life, and feelings, and I wanted to comment on her first post…and there was that button tempting me to log in or Sign Up! And so I did… And it has been an amazing few months! My creative juices have started flowing again, I have found out that I have a way with words, when relating a humorous story, or relaying my point of opinion… And the support I have received on here has been immense. So now I blog, something I had never considered before, and I wonder where this blogging has been all my life!!!!

And now to nominate a few worthy bloggers… There are so many so here are a few I hope you, my readers, will enjoy, and support, and these are blogs I feel deserve the nomination.

1) Everyday Zen
2) Chantal And Shekinah
3) The Mischief Memoirs
4) Lily Alice
5) Everything’s Coming Up Rosie

And so for the Challenge question for you…

What would be your dream meal?  If you could choose a meal to end all mealtimes, what would you have, and why, it can be as much or as little as you require!

Thanks again to my nominator!

😀 😀 😀
