It’s been another busy day in the teaching and parenting life of Ritu, and I came home to another lovely surprise from my Moon Blog Twin Sister, Erika, who has nominated me for the Creative Blogger Award! Facts…

I am currently nursing a still sprained ankle, a iron burn on my arm, and a grazed toe… total clumsy clutz, me!
This time 2 years ago I managed to slice my toe on the bottom of a chair at school, walked around with a shoe that became a pool of blood, got it patched up, fainted, ended up at the hospital, fainted again, and now have a lovely scar for the memory! my BP dropped to 74/40…. But it’s ok, Peeps! I am ok now!
I used to visit the local A & E regularly as I used to walk into things on a weekly basis, and my poor little toes… they have really taken a beating from my awful co-ordination!
My first aid box has slowly turned into a large drawer full of plasters, bandages, antiseptic creams, as I am no the only clutz in the family… I passed the gene on to Lil Princess! At least she hasn’t had any hospital visits…yet!
I once gave myself a black eye, by misjudging where the sink was in our bathroom! I was getting up, after picking something up from the floor, and as I came up, nose made contact with sink edge… OUCH! I looked great! LOL!

1) How do you find inspiration for your work ?

Inspiration hits me in many different ways, from something I read, to something I see, or something I heard, or maybe remembered…

2) Name something you would never give up, and why.

I have to say my family here, I could never give my family up, for anything, they are the reason I am here, and the reason I am the person I am too!

3) Describe your perfect day

My perfect day would be with my family, and close friends, spending time relaxing, and enjoying precious time with them all!

4) How long have you been blogging for and what got you started?

I started blogging at the end of November 2014, after I was prompted to sign up, when I wanted to comment on a friend’s blog. I didn’t need to really start a blog, I could have just been a reader, but the temptation to write was so strong, it pulled me in and I haven’t stopped since!

5 facts about me…

I have just spent the day having an extremely lazy Sunday! In bed or on the sofa, reading! I finished one book and am over 2/3 through another! And we watched the Wimbledon Men’s final too!
I am jealous of my cousin who got my mum’s gorgeous light brown eyes, and I didn’t!!!!
I was once in the creative team for a Jewellery business! Sound impressive? It wasn’t such a big deal, we had to do the Young Enterprise scheme in 6th form, and we decided to make our own jewellery to sell, I became adept at creating earrings and twisting bits of wire!
I managed to chip my front tooth as a child, getting out of the swimming pool!
In a space of 6 months I was hit from the back, while driving, and stationery at a roundabout… THREE TIMES! What luck eh!
